We’ve come to the end of this month’s blog series. We’ve been looking at the noticeable increase in demand for workspace outside of London since the occurrence of Covid-19. Last week’s post looked into some of the amazing spaces we have in and around Newcastle and at the beginning of the month we were in Reading.
This week we take a look at what Bristol has to offer in terms of safe and flexible workspace solutions. While many businesses have capitalised on the benefits of working from home, the pandemic has also shone a light on the importance of maintaining a physical workspace – particularly one that will still keep our teams and businesses safe.
Bristol in particular is a highly popular city for workspace due to its position within the motorway network. Connected to the M32 the M4 and the M5, getting to city is convenient for those trying to avoid public transport in the current climate.
Desk Lodge
Adding a little bit of fun to the office, this workspace is certainly memorable and has plenty of talking points for visiting guests – particularly within the meeting rooms. The spaces are themed and represent scenes including a ship, an ancient city and of course, quintessential Britain. Having private meeting spaces and small break out areas that are easily adapted for social distancing is very useful in allowing businesses to navigate through these difficult times.
While out of the crush that is London at rush hour, this business centre still benefits from a city centre location. All the amenities that businesses require, or just prefer to have at their feet, are still right on the doorstep at Desk Lodge.
Chadwick
Chadwick’s office space in Bristol is a breath of fresh air. The crisp white walls create not only space but a clean and professional setting to work. The building also has the benefit of many large windows allowing for not only a beautiful amount of natural light but also giving the opportunity for better air circulation.
The centre’s break-out spaces are another opportunity to ensure that your business has the space that it needs to grow and collaborate. Teams can choose from the large boardroom when needing to spread out or smaller meeting rooms for private one on ones. The plentiful glass partitions throughout the building also ensure your teams don’t feel isolated from one another whilst keeping safe.
Landmark
If you’re still looking for something quirky and memorable but without being overwhelming and crowded, this office on Temple Quay offers exactly that. When entering the building you find yourself standing in a stunning atrium, looking up at the numerous balconies of workspace throughout the building. Natural light is bountiful and a beautiful feeling of openness and space is created – ideal for social distancing.
Being located on the quay, the surroundings are ideal for getting out and unwinding during lunch. Equally, the views from the workspace are great for wellbeing during such worrying times. Being in such a well-lit, comfortable and safe space while you work can really change how you work.
